The Horse and Mule Barn was built around 1910 at a size of 36 x 80 feet. It has a gambrel roof and, like the Dairy Barn, is a “bank barn” allowing easy access to the loft. The lower level, built of handmade concrete blocks, was used to stable the horses and mules as well as to store feed and tack. The upper level was wood frame and used to store hay and grain.
